Update from the Administrator 1/5/22
DATE: 01/05/2022
Dear Residents, Families and Representatives,
All staff and residents were tested this week due to the high level of community spread in our area and the high number of visitors in the facility over the holidays. We were notified today that we had four staff test positive for COVID-19 on Monday, January 3rd. Contact tracing is being conducted to determine if there were any significant exposures to residents or other staff. All staff who tested positive were fully vaccinated and all are asymptomatic at this time.
We will be conducting building wide testing for all staff and residents on 1/6 and again next week. The level of community spread of the coronavirus in our area is critically high! Visitors are still allowed to come into the facility, however, wearing of surgical masks during all visits is required. Rolling Hills can provide surgical masks to visitors when they arrive if a visitor does not have their own. Please postpone visits if you aren’t feeling well or have had a known exposure to anyone who is sick. We are always happy to assist with phone calls and video visits if you aren’t able to visit in person!
We will continue to follow all health and safety protocols to help prevent spread of the illness within our building. I will keep you informed of any other developments. Please reach out with any questions or concerns!
Stay well,
Linda Smith NHA
