Dining and Food Options for Residents
At Rolling Hills, we have complimentary coffee and a variety of snacks available 24 hours/day for residents. On residents’ birthdays, one complimentary meal is provided for any special guest.
In addition to our spacious and comfortable main dining room, we have designated each living area with space to eat comfortably. Eating areas are set up with tables that are convenient for residents in wheelchairs as well as ambulatory residents. Residents receive assistance with eating when needed and are provided with adaptive eating devices accordance to their individual needs.

Providing Hot Meals for Seniors in Need in the Community
The Dietary Department also provides hot meals to the Monroe County Nutrition Sites Monday through Friday for seniors in need Sparta, Tomah, Wilton, Kendal, Cashton, and Cataract, WI. Many of the menu items are created with input from residents and are prepared from scratch by the Dietary Department. There is no required cost for these meals, just a suggested donation amount.
High Standard Dietary Options
The Dietary Department of our facility is staffed by a Consultant Dietician and a full-time Certified Dietary Manager. The food service staff provides personal care while maintaining a high standard of excellence in meeting the individual needs of our residents. Our goal is to identify nutritional deficiencies and develop a nutritional plan of care that ensures the resident’s needs are met and their independence and preferences are maintained.
Customized and Balanced Meals
Our Food Service Department provides three balanced meals that are not only prepared in accordance with regulations and standards but that are pleasing to eat. Rolling Hills also utilizes our physicians to create and prescribe therapeutic diets to help create a meal plan that improves health without sacrificing taste or variety.
