Internships
Our Activities Internships are held semi-annually in the Spring and Fall and are designed for students majoring Recreation Therapy. Our interns work in the geriatric field to enhance the lives of our residents using guidelines set through the National Council for Therapeutic Recreation.
Spring and Fall programs allow for one intern each. Summer internships are not available. Jessica Byom, Activity Director Assistant and Linda Fabry, Activity Director conduct interviews. Interviews for potential interns are typically all held in one week. Spring interviews are held in early September and Fall interviews are held early January, so please apply early.
