We always begin by wishing our friends a Happy Birthday in April: Pat, Dennis, Paul, Ruth, Dan, Joan and Ron!
March has been a fun and busy month. We are excited about the start of spring and are looking forward to Easter. We took shopping trips to both the Dollar Tree and to Wal-Mart, enjoyed breakfast club where we got to enjoy hash brown patties in addition to the food we normally have, playing bingo and mystery game, order in Arby’s, making St. Patrick’s day crafts and dyeing eggs for Easter.
We are always thankful for those who come to play us music. We enjoyed Country Survivors Band, Frank, Myron, Laurel, Steve, Truth and Spirit Band, Prairie Dog Rehab and Tim this past month.
This month we also enjoyed playing bingo with the Lion’s Club as well as St. Pat’s and always enjoy Bible study with Diane on Monday afternoons. We enjoyed the visit from the Meadowview 4th graders this month and had a marshmallow snowball fight with them. We think the kids enjoyed it just as much as we did! We had two educational programs this month, one about being green for St. Patrick’s Day where we got to enjoy some green Jell-O and one with a spring theme.
We did some reminiscing about Easter traditions and talked about hiding Easter baskets for our children to find, sending them on Easter egg hunts, enjoying chocolate bunnies and jelly beans, dyeing Easter eggs and eating Ham with our families on Easter.
We want to thank all of our wonderful volunteers who come help out with bingo, shopping trips, bible study, pet therapy, playing cards and much more!
We are looking forward to Easter and want to wish everyone a Happy Easter!
