Update from Administrator 12-18-21
DATE: 12/18/2021
Dear Residents, Families and Representatives,
We were notified today that we had two staff test positive for COVID-19 during testing on 12/17/21. Contact tracing is being conducted to determine if there were any significant exposures to residents or staff. Both staff were masked during all resident care and contact.
We are conducting building wide testing for all residents and staff and will be monitoring for signs and symptoms of illness. The level of community spread of the coronavirus in our area is extremely high. We are seeing some breakthrough cases of COVID as a result. It is highly recommended that anyone eligible for a booster dose of the vaccine do so to reduce the risk of severe illness and hospitalization. Rolling Hills conducted a second booster clinic with the Monroe County Health Department on 12/17 and all eligible residents have received a booster.
We will continue to follow all health and safety protocols to help prevent spread of the illness within our building. I will keep you informed of any other developments. Please reach out with any questions or concerns!
Stay well,
Linda Smith NHA
Administrator
