Update from Administrator 1-26-22
DATE: 01/26/2022
Dear Residents, Families and Representatives,
We have one staff person who tested positive for COVID from testing on Monday. All residents tested on Monday were negative. We will continue to test all staff and residents twice per week until we have 14 days with no new cases.
Thankfully, all recent cases among residents and staff have been mild. Rolling Hills is complying with the federal mandate from CMS to have all staff vaccinated or have an approved medical or religious exemption. This mandate requires that all staff, volunteers, contractors or other service providers in healthcare facilities have the first dose of vaccine by 01/27/22 and the second dose by 02/28/2022. Booster doses are not required at this time, however, they are strongly encouraged.
I will keep you informed of case counts and any other developments. Please be sure to mask when out among others and stay up to date on vaccinations. If you are due for a booster I urge you to get one. Those who are vaccinated are much less likely to require hospitalization than those who are not vaccinated. As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns!
Stay well,
Linda Smith NHA
