Update from Administrator 1-21-22
DATE: 01/21/2022
Dear Residents, Families and Representatives,
We have one staff person who tested positive for COVID today. All other test results from Monday and Tuesday are in with no additional resident or staff cases identified. We continue to test all staff and residents next week and until we have 14 days with no new cases.
As stated in the previous letter, Federal guidelines allow for residents to continue to have visitors during outbreaks of the virus. Each person should evaluate their level of risk, particularly if it is with a resident who is ill or is quarantining due to exposure. It is critical that visitors and residents wear personal protective equipment when visiting with residents who are in isolation or quarantine. We encourage you to wear N95 or KN95 masks if you have them or we will provide a medical grade surgical mask. Please follow all instructions from staff for your safety and the health and safety of all residents, staff and visitors.
We are able to accommodate video and phone call visits if safety is a concern. Visitors may want to call ahead to find out if the person you are visiting is on a quarantine and adjust your plans accordingly. We recognize the importance of family and friends and encourage contact through safe visits, letters, phone calls and video visits.
I will keep you informed of case counts and any other developments. As always, please reach out with any questions or concerns!
Stay well,
Linda Smith NHA
